Pete Corle, Chief Commercial Officer of Solstice Advanced Materials, Joins The Chemical Summit for Fireside Chat
HOUSTON, Texas — September 18, 2026 — The Chemical Summit has announced Pete Corle, Chief Commercial Officer of Solstice Advanced Materials, as the featured Fireside Chat guest for The Chemical Summit 2026, taking place September 29–30 in Houston.
Corle will join The Chemical Summit founder Victoria King Meyer for a candid conversation about commercial leadership, customers, growth, and creating advantage in a changing market. The Fireside Chat will close Day One of the Summit.
Corle brings more than 25 years of specialty chemical industry experience, including much of his career at Dow, where he held senior commercial leadership roles across global businesses and markets. Today, as Chief Commercial Officer of Solstice Advanced Materials, he leads commercial strategy for a company establishing its direction as a newly independent specialty materials business.
That combination of experience provides a compelling backdrop for a conversation about how leaders build advantage as markets, customer needs, and businesses themselves change.
Reshaping Advantage Through Customers, Value and Growth
The 2026 Chemical Summit is centered on the theme Reshaping Advantage, exploring how chemical companies are building and sustaining competitive advantage as markets, technology, customer expectations, and organizations change.
During the Fireside Chat, Meyer and Corle will explore the leadership and commercial questions behind that challenge: How do companies stay close to customers as markets and priorities shift? How do they translate technical capabilities into meaningful commercial value? And what does it take to build momentum when the path ahead is still being defined?
The conversation will also draw on Corle’s experience leading across different businesses and market environments, including what he has learned about customers, differentiation, and translating strategy into commercial results.
Rather than a formal presentation, the Fireside Chat is designed as a candid executive conversation, with attendees having the opportunity to hear Corle’s perspective and ask questions directly.
Closing Day One of The Chemical Summit
The Fireside Chat will serve as the closing conversation on Day One, following sessions examining competitive advantage, the CEO agenda, chemical industry economics, and commercial value.
It is part of a broader two-day program organized around four areas where chemical companies are reshaping advantage: Markets, Execution, Technology and People.
The Chemical Summit brings together leaders from across the chemical value chain for business-focused conversations, peer exchange, and meaningful connection. The Summit is intentionally small and interactive, creating opportunities for attendees to engage directly with speakers and one another.
