Dwayne Sattler has served as Chief Executive Officer of CEF, a national nonprofit dedicated to Creating Exciting Futures in STEM, since 2017. For more than 35 years, CEF has partnered with chemical industry leaders and volunteers to engage over 5.2 million students nationwide, with 100% of scholarship recipients pursuing STEM after high school.

Before joining CEF, Dwayne was Associate Vice President for Policy at The Ohio State University’s Office of Research, where he led corporate and public-sector partnerships for the Ohio Technology Consortium, securing major investments in research and STEM education.

Earlier in his career, he advanced industry competitiveness, workforce development, and corporate social responsibility through his consulting firm, Network Government Relations, LLC, and as Staff Director of the U.S. Senate Subcommittee on Employment and Training, where he shaped national workforce policy.

Dwayne holds a Master’s in Public Policy and Management from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s in Communications from Bowling Green State University.
